Central Coast Sevens

Brisbane heating up Queen St.

The Brisbane Heat players, along with their coach Darren Lehmann, were at Queen St. Mall in Brisbane on Friday to meet and greet their fans. A large number of supporters, both old and new, met the team at the height of the Christmas shopping season.

People of all ages treasured the chance to score autographs from some of the biggest names in cricket, as well as some of the young, up and coming guns of Australian cricket.

Star recruit Shane Watson was the centre of attention, with the media and fans alike lining up to see Brisbane's marquee player. Radio Station B105 were also there and gave away cash and prizes throughout the day.

With the Heat going down in their first encounter against the Hobart Hurricanes, the Brisbane side will be looking to turn things around this week when they take on the Adelaide Strikers on the 13th of December at the Adelaide oval.
